Welcome to Leros
Our island of Leros is a small island in Greece, in the cluster of the Dodecanese (also known as Twelve Islands). It is a relatively undiscovered island, perfect for tranquil holidays away from the big crowds you tend to find in the bigger islands.
Life here is simple, the sound of the fishing boats leaving in the early morning, a rooster who has decided it is time to get people up, the aromas of the trees the herbs, the majestic fool moon and the glorious sunrise... If this sounds like the kind of holiday you have in mind then you are in the right place!
Welcome to Hotel To Rodon
Our small family hotel is situated in the area known as Spillia (Caves). It is right between Pandeli and Vromolithos. The first is a well known fishing village of the island with plenty of restaurants to chose from and a good beach. The second a favourite beach for those who truly know Leros. We are also only a few minutes (about 10-15) walk away from Platanos, the center of the island, with all the services you would expect such as post office, supermarkets, banks etc.
We have been extending our hospitality to visitors of the island since 1981! Our latest renovation was in 2006 and our accommodation features en-suite facilities, TV, fridge, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Air-Condition and of course breath taking views... see some of our photos and be the judge for your self. Rodon means 'The Rose'. The name was inspired by the owners love for roses and his many Rose bushes in his garden. Next to the Hotel and part of the family, is Dimitris Mezes Restaurant. It has been called by many one of the best restaurants of the island so you are in for a treat if you decide to try Dimitris cooking... We wish you an unforgettable holiday in Leros! |
